Topic: Imposter syndrome
On 23 January 2020 we will meet at 12:15 pm in the faculty room 00.10.011 to discuss the topic "Imposter syndrome". For Women in Math@TUM: Every female (Phd-)student, PostDoc or Professor is welcome.
FACETS of Mathematicians
We plan to meet roughly once a month to thematize career-relevant aspects of mathematical culture. Possible topics are
- gender distribution,
- confidence gap,
- imposter syndrome,
- diversity, and
- compatibility of family and career.
Even though this time we will start off with a women’s only event, in the future we invite everyone who is interested. The organizers of FACETS of Mathematicians are Claudia Scheimbauer, Nada Sissouno and Stefan Weltge.
