Stefan Glogger
Chair, International Graduate Trainee at Munich Re

Stefan studied in parallel Mathematics and Management and Technology at TUM and completed the elite graduate program Finance and Information Management (FIM) in 2019. He participated in an exchange programme at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia and did research at Western University, Canada. He gained business experience at KPMG and enhanced his entrepreneurial skillset during the Manage&More programme. Since October 2019, Stefan works as an International Graduate Trainee at Munich Re.

Tamara Simjanoska
Deputy Chair, Student Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science

Tamara obtained a Bachelors degree in Mathematical Economics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia in June 2019. In the same year she was enrolled at the Master Program in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science at TUM, which she will complete in March 2022. During her studies, she did internships at the Central Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as Munich Re F&C.

Jonathan Helm
Member of Board, Portfolio Management at Allianz Investment Management

Jonathan earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at FAU Erlangen and his master’s degree in “Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science” at TUM. During his studies, he gained programming experience in a software consulting company, an introduction into actuarial mathematics at HUK Coburg and risk management skills at Bayern LB. He also spent two semesters abroad at Tsinghua University in Beijing. After a trainee programme and working for some years as a Structured Credit Analyst, he now works as an Investment Manager at Allianz Investment Management.

Michel Kschonnek
Member of Board, PhD Student at the Chair of Mathematical Finance

In October 2015, Michel started his studies in Mathematics at TUM and later joined the TopMath program. During his studies, he spent a semester at the University of Bath and gained practical experience at Allianz and Deloitte. Afterwards, he transitioned to the doctoral phase of the TopMath program and conducted a research semester at Western University. In late 2019, he started to work part time for Zobel Values.
“By connecting financial mathematicians in industry and academia with current students, FiMaTUM has the potential to make an invaluable contribution to the personal development and professional network of its members. I would like to help the club realize this potential and support its growth into an active community.”

Alexander Kammerer
Member of Board, Investment Engineer at finccam

Alexander studied Mathematics and Finance and Information Management at TUM. During his studies, he did internships at a software engineering firm and an asset management firm in Germany and in the US. In April of 2019 he finished his studies and started working as a software engineer for finccam, an asset management boutique.
“The club is a huge step in the right direction. Mathematicians can learn at least one thing from economists: strong networking can benefit young students as well as alumni during their career.”
