Meet my Company
In this event series, students and companies enter into conversation with one another: Company representatives present their business and sector as well as the professional areas and entry-level opportunities for mathematicians.
Students and companies in dialogue
Many mathematics students ask themselves: What do mathematicians actually do in different companies and industries? What qualifications do I need for a job? What will my everyday work look like? How and when can I start? What are my further career perspectives?
The aim of the Meet My Company event series is to bring students and company representatives together and thereby clarify many of these questions. The company representatives first give a presentation lasting about an hour. They report on the career opportunities in their company and give insights into the everyday work of mathematicians.
Following the presentation, there is an informal get-together where students and company representatives enter into lively exchange. Often, good contacts with future employees are made here.
