Short CV

Simone began his studies in Computer Science Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in September 2019. After completing his Bachelor's degree in July 2022, he started a double-degree Master's program in High-Performance Computing Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and Computational Science at Università della Svizzera Italiana. He earned his two Master's degrees in April 2024 and June 2024 with a thesis on Reinforcement Learning for Variational Quantum Circuit. After completing his studies, Simone undertook an internship at the Fraunhofer ITWM, where he began to learn about Tensor Networks. In 2024, he won the Munich Quantum Valley scholarship. He started his PhD with Prof. von Delft at LMU in September 2024. Since September 2025, Simone has been pursuing his doctorate at the Research Group Financial and Actuarial Science at TUM.
