Short CV

Luis began studying mathematics with a minor in economics at the Technical University of Munich in October 2019. After a semester abroad at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH, Stockholm, Sweden), he completed his bachelor's degree in spring 2023 with a thesis on modeling mortality probabilities. He then began his master's degree in mathematics and simultaneously studied for a master's degree in Finance and Information Management (FIM), both at the Technical University of Munich. In September 2025, he completed his master's degree in mathematics with a thesis on portfolio optimization under net-zero emission targets. During his studies, Luis gained practical experience through a student internship in product management at the insurance company "die Bayerische." Since October 2025, Luis has been pursuing his doctorate at the Chair of Financial Mathematics.
