Welcome!
The research group Numerical Methods for Plasma Physics is developing new computational methods for fusion research. This includes numerical methods describing the complex plasma behaviour, fast software for high performance computers, and visualisation methods for the large quantities of data involved.
We are closely collaborating with the NMPP group at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics.
The group is led by TUM professor Eric Sonnendrücker. You can also find a complete list of our members.
